San Isidro Park River Restoration Workshop

A two day river restoration workshop on the Santa Fe River on October 17-18, 2009. Craig Sponholtz of Dryland Solutions will be leading the workshop which is sponsored by the Santa Fe Watershed Association. The workshop is free by advanced registration is required.

Come  help the river and learn simple practical techniques to use on your own land to cultivate water and soil to prevent erosion and support plants. Join the Santa Fe Watershed Association, Santa Fe County Open Space and Trails, and Dryland Solutions in a two day workshop at San Ysidro Park in Santa Fe. Participants will learn ways to take advantage of storm water to produce vegetation, minimize erosion, and restore wildlife habitat through hands-on experience.

The workshop is made possible by a grant from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation and the support of Santa Fe County Open Space and Trails.

The workshop is free but space is limited. San Isidro Park is located at san ysidro Crossing (County Road 68a) off Agua Fria. For more information , please visit out website at santafewatershed.org
