The Quality Associate candidate will report to and work with the Quality Lead for the site to formulate, implement and maintain the site’s quality and biosafety programs associated with operation of Joule’s outdoor test rigs and laboratories.   

Quality Assurance Associate

 

The Quality Associate candidate will report to and work with the Quality Lead for the site to formulate, implement and maintain the site’s quality and biosafety programs associated with operation of Joule’s outdoor test rigs and laboratories.

  

Responsibilities 

With Quality Lead, implementation and maintenance of the documentation system, including SOPs, experimental test plans, batch records, 8Ds and MOCs.

Site lead and champion for the 6S site organizational program.

Being a resource to the EH&S Lead for the formulation and implementation of the site BioSafety program. 

Perform inspections as required to ensure compliance with the 6S program.

With Quality Lead and EH&S Lead, assess current training programs for operators and propose enhancements to management.

With Quality Lead and EH&S Lead, provide compliance and quality assurance training to new hires, and assist with re-training/cross-training of employees.

Act as a resource to the manufacturing staff on quality issues.

Provide ongoing metrics for tracking and trending; report metrics on a routine basis to Quality Lead

Evaluate and propose changes to the manufacturing areas and SOP’s to enhance quality, reliability, safety, and productivity. 

Requirements

B.S. Degree in Biology or similar field

Two or more years of experience in a quality or manufacturing role, preferably in the pharmaceutical or API manufacturing industry

Experience in Biosafety related issues.
