The Forest Stewards Guild is seeking an insured and qualified burn boss type two (RXB2) for up to three mobilizations. The contractor will organize and lead a burn crew to implement up to three burns in September and October 2016. Contractor will work as part of a team with Forest Stewards Guild, local land managers and owners, and local volunteer and hired resources. The Forest Stewards Guild is coordinating burn permits, burn equipment, and firefighters from state, local, and NGOs. The Forest Stewards Guild is now accepting bids for three burns scheduled in September and October. Bids will be considered for one, two, or all three burns. Due Date: 12:00 Noon, Thursday August 25, 2016

This unique competition is open to representatives from for-profit and nonprofit organizations, tribal entities, businesses, individuals and students, staff, or faculty at nationally accredited colleges and universities. Founded by Craig Barrett, former Chairman and CEO of Intel Corporation and long-time Board Member of the NFF, the Challenge encourages and rewards innovative market-based solutions to natural resource issues affecting National Forests and Grasslands and hopes to cultivate a new generation of entrepreneurial natural resource and business leaders. The objectives of the Barrett Foundation Business Concept Challenge are: • To develop and launch market-based solutions that satisfy multiple goals of forest health, sustainable use, and economic development, including job creation. • To stimulate creative thinking to address problems and identify opportunities that benefit the National Forests and Grasslands. • To encourage the design and development of interdisciplinary approaches to address complex natural resource challenges. The Barrett Foundation Business Concept Challenge offers a $75,000 cash award to the winning submission and a $25,000 cash award to the first runner-up. LEGAL NOTICE is hereby given that the New Mexico Water Quality Control Commission’s Utility Operators Certification Advisory Board will convene a meeting on Thursday, May 12th, 2016 beginning at 2:00 p.m. to discuss the reorganization of the Utility Operator Certification Program under the New Mexico Environment Department’s Drinking Water Bureau. The meeting will be held at The New Mexico Environment Department’s District 1 Office, 121 Tijeras Avenue NE, Suite 1000, Albuquerque, NM 87102. The meeting will be in the Sandia Conference Room.
